How Does Milwaukee Rank with Housing Prices?

Milwaukee real estate is changing for the better, showing now is better than ever before for investing in a home or condo.

According to Reuters, among the 50 largest metropolitan areas where housing prices are expected to appreciate between 2012 and 2018, the top five will see rises on average of 32 percent, while the bottom five will average gains of only 11 percent.

Homes in the Milwaukee Housing Market are Gaining Value!

The cities expected to report the largest increase in the median price of previously owned single-family homes are:

2. Tampa

3. Jacksonville

4. St. Louis

5. Milwaukee

Zillow currently reports the median value of real estate near Milwaukee WI and in the Milwaukee housing market area is $120,800 while the price per square foot is $129 and the median rent being $1,200. Milwaukee home values have gone up 8.3% over the past year and Zillow predicts they will rise 3.7% within the next year.
